A Dr and Patient in Conversation

On Monday 22 January, we officially launch our exciting new online course, Genomics in the NHS: A Clinician’s Guide to Genomic Testing for Cancer, to help clinicians understand the genomic testing process for solid tumour indications. Hosted on the FutureLearn platform and featuring a range of engaging multimedia, the course covers both the practical aspects and wider contexts of ordering tests, using the test directory, and feeding back results to patients. You can sign up to join the course now.

We are conducting a short 10 minute survey to find out about patients’ views and experiences of the care and treatment they have received before, during and after genetic / genomic testing. The results will be used to improve the education and support we offer healthcare professionals. The survey will remain open until 31 January 2024. Please share widely with your patient groups and networks.
