Continuing the #GenomicsConversation

Last month’s #GenomicsConversation was a great success, and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to all our partners in the genomics community and beyond, and everyone who joined and supported during the week. We were delighted to see so many engaging with the campaign through our social messages and face-to-face activities. If you were unable to join in, you can visit our interactive calendar of activities and access all the resources we shared. As always, we’d love to hear your feedback, so please feel free to get in touch and help us continue the conversation in 2024!

National Genomic Research Library

NHS England and Genomics England have created a short overview animation about what it means to contribute to the National Genomic Research Library (NGRL). Aimed at patients and family members with a rare disease or cancer, the video may also be useful to clinicians for educational purposes. If you have used this video to discuss the NGRL with your patients, Genomics England would like your feedback.

A new one-day training event, Endocrine Genetic Testing, is set to take place on 12 September in Manchester. Endorsed by the Society for Endocrinology, the day will provide those working in endocrinology with training on how to use genomic information in routine clinical pathways and to better support patients with hereditary endocrine disorders. For further details, or to book your place, visit the event page.
